The place was quiet, clean and good for a short visit to Memphis. The hosts were very responsive including making last minute adjustments to our reservation.

I’ll start by saying it’s VERY COMFORTABLE. It’s only for 2 people (as it outlines in the listing), but very much homey. It definitely gets a little warm in the bedroom space, but the AC eventually cools the entire apartment, no problems. The tv inside the bedroom instead of in the family room would’ve been great, but all in all we enjoyed it, and had a nice stay! Thanks Tim and Paula.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Tim’s apartment recently. Everything was handled in an extremely professional manner, from check in to check out, it was seamless and easy.
The apartment was inviting, very clean and comfortable and in a great location. We enjoyed the added bonus of the balcony and were grateful for the local city tips he shared for dining and things to do during our stay.

Great remodeled apartment in uptown Memphis. Updated kitchen and bathroom with original classic touches. Clean and convenient to many restaurants and parks in the area. Plenty of private parking. Wall AC unit worked well during the hot Memphis days/nights. Ideal for 1 or 2 people. Definitely recommend.

We loved Tim’s place we just wish there was a tv in the bedroom and there was channels to watch. But we knew going in there was no regular tv channels.

It was great to be well located on a weekend to visit the city. The apartment has everything, kitchen utensils, refrigerator space, a comfortable shower to take a hot shower in the morning. We had to wash some clothes, so it was great to have washing machines available in the building. Not to mention being able to park the car in the back without worrying about looking for parking. In other words, the place is for those who are going to visit the city in a short period as we did. Thanks Tim for hosting us!

Tim’s place is definitely unmatched! Such a beautiful gem to stay in while visiting Memphis! This place was exactly as the pictures are! PERFECT FOR TWO! The amenities, bed, towels, linen and pots are such great quality! During the pandemic we wanted safety, cleanliness and privacy all while being conveniently located to all hot spots, gas and coffee. Tim’s place is beyond recommendable! We made groceries for our stay to cook in while trying to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID.. we had so much fun at Tim’s place cooking and making TikTok recipes 😊The kitchen is amazingly beautiful! While we stayed it was extremely cold in Memphis and the A/C / heating unit did a great job heating the apartment and the bathroom has a heater switch as well to keep you warm on a chilly morning! There is gas station around the corner, a beautiful updated Kroger grocery store for making groceries and SO many great eateries in the area and downtown which is about 5-7 minutes away. We will absolutely revisit Memphis and use Tim’s place for staying!

The house was exactly what we expected, if not more charming than the photos expressed. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a two night stay. The heated bathroom made getting ready in the morning cozy.
I was a little nervous about the neighborhood because of the crime reports I researched. However, and I share this to help anyone wondering as well, we felt safe, the neighbors were very friendly and I would definitely stay again. I loved this apartment/house. Added to our experience of visiting Midtown.

Easy check in process. Absolutely all communication (whether text or email) was friendly, professional and very detailed. Unfortunately, I did not receive the correct Wi-Fi password initially; however, that was resolved within minutes from the time I reached out. The space was secure, neat, clean and well furnished. Midtown location was great for getting in, out and around town.
I would definitely stay there again. Zero surprises.
Tim's place great. Check-in was very smooth, and the apartment is very comfortable. It's a 10 minute drive from downtown. There is also a bus and trolley (we didn't have a car.) We had a few wifi issues, but Tim was able to get them sorted quickly.
You want be disappointed.
This place is one of several properties of a rental company, so this place doesn't show the personal pride you'd expect if it was someone taking care of his own apartment. The bathroom light was broken (it wouldn't turn off), so that affected my husband's sleep the first night. When I told Tim, he said he already knew about the light, but they hadn't gotten someone to fix it yet. The place was also dirty: lots of dust and dirt under the bed and along the walls. There was also a long hair (not mine) in a clean towel. I sent pictures to Tim.
To Tim/the company's credit, they sent someone else in to clean the place after our first night, and they got the light fixed. But it would have been nice to get at least a small partial refund for the first night.
The location is good in that it's central, but it's a bit dive-y and not as fun as I would've hoped. I'd probably stay downtown if I were to go back.

this place is exactly as described. perfectly located, with everything you could need in walking distance.
this house is beautiful and Old. it's very creaky (which we could have expected) and getting up and down the stairs inside is loud.
the reviews about small bathroom are true. if you're a bigger person, the toilet is a bit cramped. the rain head shower has about the same water pressure as rain landing on you, and it is difficult not to get your hair wet. that being said, I read this in the reviews so wasn't surprised!
the a/c unit is in the dining area, and was set at 65 when we got there. this kept the bedroom cool for the most part, but on the hottest night I woke up absolutely drenched in sweat. that might be the only thing that dissuades me from coming back to this unit, but it by no means is a big enough problem to impact my ratings. and I would recommend this place to others.
there's no TV in the bedroom, but there is WiFi
my only other comment is: expect Tim and his team to ask some questions about who you are, more exact timeline of your trip, and your plans while you're in Memphis. these are legitimate questions, but I wanted others to expect that because I was caught a bit off guard. Tim and his team are super nice! I'm over protective of my privacy.

Everything was as expected. Clean, easy check in and check out. Driveway is a little on the narrow side, but we never had a problem finding parking on the street.

As a friend always says, you're always 10 mins away from everything, this place is basically in the middle of it all.
Need to go towards East Memphis, Beale Street, Overton Park, sites like Graceland or Fedex Arena. Its all within that timeframe for the most part.
This place was perfect for my partner and I. Had a full kitchen we didn't utilize fully, comfy bed, and a shower that blasted hot water to bring us back to life after a night out.
If you're relying on Uber/Lyft, I've found it hard to book rides due to lack of drivers so beware when going out and having that be a main transport. By no fault to the Host at all just something to have on radar.

Showed up just in time for Memphis's 2022 ice storm. Tim and his crew completely took care of me. Most of Memphis lost power but Tim's crew was able to get me into another location that maintained power. They turned what could have been a very stressful time into a great visit. Highly recommend any of Tim's properties.
Clean and comfortable! It’s great for a weekend getaway. The AC/heat is a window unit but it still kept us warm during a snow storm.

The space was very clean. Only complaint inside is the bed was not very comfy. Nice for a weekend getaway! The curb appeal was quite the opposite of clean. Be careful pulling in/out of the driveway!!!!! Its very narrow and steep.

Clean and safe area. Having either a couch or tv in the bedroom would be a nice addition. We had a really long drive and just wanted to stay in and watch movies so ended up just laying on the floor. Also kitchen is quite beautiful as well.
