Clean and well-appointed place to stay in the Cooper Young area.
Classic midtown stay. Near great to dos, eats, and drinks and the house has that vintage Memphis feel with modern decor.
Tim's space is really nice. It's newly renovated so there are some kinks to work out which is the only reason I deducted a star (really half-star), but the team made up for it and are very responsive as well as very friendly and helpful. It was very nicely furnished for cooking, sleeping (very comfortable bed), working (at the nice desk cove), and relaxing with some movies. Great location for anything in Midtown. And the back yard is super nice.

Tim’s place is in the perfect location when visiting Memphis. His place is quaint and exceptionally clean. We visited our son and had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend this cozy place!

Tim’s place was good for a long weekend stay. It appears much larger in the pictures. There is a kitchen but no table and chairs as pictured in the photos. Although there is a table and two chairs in the living room which is where we ate our breakfast. The toilet was not tightened so every time we stood up There was a big thump. I was just hoping that it didn’t break. The apartment had not been clean thoroughly. There was hair in the shower drain and The floors and corners of each room were in need of cleaning. It also said that we could use the backyard in the informational packet he sent but when I asked him twice for the key he never responded. I think he did try to respond because I kept receiving a message from him but it only had like two words on it and I sent him a picture of it and told him that his texts were not coming through to me but I didn’t hear back from him. The location is nice, you can walk to a few restaurants, the bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. I would just suggest to have someone thoroughly clean the apartment before it’s used it next time. I don’t think I would c stay here again mainly because there are so many Airbnb that looked nice for the same price.
We were late arriving due to weather & we’re confused about the parking, but daylight & no rain the next day we realized what to do & all was good! Location was very convenient, lots of hot water, & window unit kept us nice & cool.
Tim's place was great! Older style home in a wonderful location in Cooper-Young / Midtown area. Tim was super accessible the entire trip, and gave us a welcome packet that helped understand the area and some of the major attractions, restaurants, etc. Would book again!

Tim’s place is exactly as pictured and described, clean and well-maintained, and perfect for an individual or couples’ getaway to Memphis. The Cooper Young neighborhood is easily accessible from the property and there are great restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.
We enjoyed watching the Grizzlies playoff game from a bar within a couple blocks of the house and shopping in the neighborhood. It was also very easy to drive to other neighborhoods in town for sightseeing. The guidebook they put together with food suggestions was great — we tried out a few and loved them!
Tim and his team is extremely communicative throughout the booking process, on the day you’re traveling/checking in, and during your stay. Nothing went wrong during our time at the property, but I felt sure that had we needed something our host would have responded quickly and jumped in to help.
Very clean, friendly and helpful. Made checking in very smooth. They took the time to stay in text communication with me during my travels and sent the door code via text so I wouldn’t have to keep going in the app… it’s the little things that count.
Tim's place was great. We wish we could have stayed longer. The location is fantastic, the apartment was clean and perfect for a couple. Highly recommended.
We stayed for 3 nights. Tim & team responded very quickly, we had an issue on arrival which was sorted straight away and compensated for. Can’t fault the service.
The location is good for visiting the sights of Memphis. Graceland is about 15 min drive as is Sun Records. The immediate area of Cooper Young was very good, nice to be away from the city centre and great to have parking outside. Walkable to plenty of nice bars & restaurants.
The bungalow was spacious & the bed comfortable. Handy to be able to do some washing. Bedding & towels were clean but sadly the overall cleaning could have been much better, especially the floors and kitchen. The bungalow needs a bit of tlc, the bathroom is not that new. The toilet is lose so thumps & rocks when sat on. Few essentials missing as advertised, such as coffee & filters, no oven pans. A proper table & chairs are needed to eat at comfortably, the one provided is on wheels so rather wobbly.
Unfortunately the property is in a flight path! Low, loud aircraft constantly, night & day. The freight train also passes every hour sounding it’s horn 😳 Not a problem if you are a deep sleeper.
Overall we had a good stay but there is some attention to detail needed to make it better.
Beautiful unit in a quiet, adorable, and friendly neighborhood. Window air conditioners kept us fairly comfortable during a hot June week. Nicely furnished, super easy check-in, and great parking. The front porch was perfect enjoying our morning coffee and daily greetings from a neighbor’s kitty. Only drawbacks are the small bathroom and the limited cooking instruments in the kitchen. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying here and would do so again if we come back to Memphis!
The perfect midtown/Cooper-Young retreat. The street is so quiet - the best of mid-town. It's a quick getaway to downtown or East Memphis. Nicely set up apartment with great kitchen and laundry. The A/C greeted me upon arrival. (Thank you!) Tim was a terrific communicator - everything was ready and easily accessible. I felt I was well taken care of and in good hands. It would be the first place I look if I returned to Memphis.

Nice little apartment (older build) in a cute neighborhood. We felt safe walking around to the nearby coffee shops and breweries. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Would stay here again if ever in Memphis in the future! Tim was also a great host and very responsive/helpful. Also appreciate that we didn’t have to clean the whole bnb before checking out as we have with most others!

The house was cozy and comfortable with lots of charm. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The only downside is that even though communication was prompt and frequent, it was impersonal, automated messages. Some people may not care about that, but I prefer dealing directly with the owner. Other than that, I would recommend this place. It’s affordable and in a nice neighborhoood.

Good location and place was very quiet. Had everything we needed for our weekend in Memphis. Walking distance to great eats like Central BBQ.
This BnB was fine, for the money. Decorated nicely, comfy bed, clean bath; a small kitchen table and a couple of chairs in the kitchen would have been nice. There was no place to sit and eat other than the living room couch and chair pushed up to the coffee table. (There was a narrow console table just inside the entrance which we used for putting purses, books, etc... but there were chairs by it, so I guess Tim considered that the dining table; we did not.)
The kitchen was simply but adequately equipped, so we did eat in for breakfast and late snacks, hunched on the couch by the large round coffee table.
There was a beautiful, large backyard with a concrete patio off the back door, but the patio was inaccessible from the back door (it had a dead bolt but no key to open it --isn't that a fire code violation?) When asked for a key, "Locked for security, just walk from the front door, down the driveway, and through the side gate." Really? Still gave it a 4, good if not using backyard.
What an awesome quaint place to stay! Love the Cooper Young area and the Washer and Dryer was definitely a plus! Love the decor and I was pleased with the price you can’t beat. Stayed 3 days and Tim was very attentive every step of the way!
Good value for a solo adventure, budget business traveler or couple on a budget traveling without children.
Property was clean and as described, though I was not aware before arrival that the property is a duplex with a shared front entrance. This did affect sense of privacy, though not so much, in my case, that I would not again make the choice to stay.
Quiet residential area in a convenient midtown location for walking to restaurants and shops. The property is not designed for persons with accessibility needs and the location may not be advisable for such persons.
Host communication was effective and efficient, and the arrival and departure process was easy.
All worked well for my purposes and would recommend to others with similar needs and outlook.
Aside the neibour's dog barking almost all day, everything was perfect! Tim was very communicative and reacted quickly to fix a little problem. The bed was comfortable, kitchen & bathroom very functionnal and livingroom cozy. The location was great to visit Memphis (with a car). I strongly recommend Tim's place 🙂

Prime location with spacious layout, tasteful decor, thoughtful touches, and everything you need for a short or longer stay. Bedroom in the back (with a complimentary white noise machine) made for a quiet night’s sleep. Definitely recommend!

Overall, I had a good stay. The level of cleanliness was a little disappointing, but I brought things to Tim’s attention and sent pictures. For the price, this is still a great deal due to the central location including proximity to airport, shops, and restaurants.

Midtown bars and restaurants are close by and Downtown reachable in 15min by car, so a good starting point to discover Memphis.

Very close to all the best food. I recommend trying taco truck down street across from gas station. The unit was stocked and had a washer| dryer in laundry room. Super helpful ; a/c units at the front & end of unit. It’s also shared like “ duplex “ style. Parking on street pretty easy since mostly everyone uses driveway.

Good place, but the host is fabricating a whole story about how I had extra guests "present and frequently coming and going at night." I was there for Gonerfest, and I was barely in the unit myself. My friends walked me back one night, walked me in, and then left (to go to their much nicer and cheaper airbnb, btw). His dispute claims show a screenshot of them coming in, and that's it, but they left less than ten minutes later. Stretching the definition of what guests staying there means is a shady way to try and extort money from people. Beware.

This was our second stay at the bungalow, and we continue to be impressed with it and with Tim's service. Instructions were clear and timely, we had everything we needed, the place was clean and uncluttered, the price reasonable and the communication professional and informative. We plan to stay here again whenever we're in Memphis.

The space was fine. Should not be listed as an entire house when it is a duplex. Was nicely decorated & there were thoughtful touches - sound machine, eye masks, ear plug, was nice to not have to worry about cleaning. Was not the AirBnB experience I expected. Was listed as a pet friendly place. However they do not disclose any pet fees in the listing. We were messaged about bringing our dog (seen on security camera) and a pet fee was requested, which we paid. Had it been disclosed up front, we would have been happy to pay up front. This was awkward and the fee was relatively steep ($75 for a 3 night stay). We were visiting my sister that lives 3 blocks away for Thanksgiving. They stopped by to say hi for 5 minutes with my baby nephew. We received another message reminding us of the guest limit. I very politely attempted to be in contact with Tim to clear the air so we could relax and enjoy our holiday. I was told by his staff that he was unavailable and they could not take a message.

First time in Memphis, the stay at this place is loud with trains and airplanes. Also you can hear the neighbors who are staying in the other side, plus the entrance is a screen door that is not locked the people next door came in and out all night.
If you want quiet this isn’t it. Owner is great at communicating.
Great midtown location! Nice neighborhood, good for walking and close to Central BBQ-one of my favorites. It is not a high end venue, but It had everything we needed for a long weekend. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable. Street parking.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, very close to downtown and in a safer neighborhood. The host is also very responsive and friendly. There were a few weird things, like the light in the bedroom didn’t really work and there was shampoo and conditioner but no soap in the bathroom. But otherwise, we had a nice little time in our short stay there!
Tim did a wonderful job creating a safe and quiet space. The apartment is very cool and spacious, and everything was spotless. We were not bothered and felt safe inside and our car was undisturbed outside. There was a washing machine with soap which was greatly appreciated and shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Hosting aside, very cool layout and beautiful floors. A hidden gem apartment and has a unique, timeless, yet modern feel. Thank you Tim!:)

The space was easy to find, the hosts were great with clear instructions, & everything felt clean and safe. Good place to stay for a get away in Memphis.
The stay at the rental was actually nice. It was clean and comfortable and had everything that you needed. The problem was with the security check in process. I nearly had to cancel because of the problems getting the information to the check in personnel.
Tim and team were super. I stayed here for multiple days for BBQ fest and it was super convenient and clean. Will use again!

Tim was really nice and if we needed anything he took care of all our needs. I had a wonderful house . The house was beautiful and our surrounding was quiet. We was in a nice area . We came for the Memphis Monster Con and had a BLAST! Overall the place we stayed at was very nice especially since my husband and I live with our 17 year old nephew and my 82 year old father in law and it is quite stressful, our cooper young apartment was quite except for the occasional crazy commotion from the neighbors in apartment , but we will definitely be coming back the next time the monster con is in town!!! Definitely recommend for someone else to stay and our host was quick to respond with any issues we had but it was minor!!
